Welcome, and thank you for visiting my world. 

My name is Janette Schuster, and creativity is the air I breathe. I absolutely adore vintage and antique images and objects. It is a pleasure to discover these found materials and a joy to use them in my art, whether that be the medium of digital collage, analog collage, assemblage, or wearable art.

My art is also greatly influenced by science and nature, having earned a Masters of Science degree and had careers as an archaeological geologist and a freelance science writer. You might say that I am equal parts scientist and artist, and as such I feel equally grateful for the ability to explore our natural world through science and express the otherworldly beauty of our inner lives and emotions through art.
